چکیده

To investigate the gait analysis of patients after total knee arthroplasty with posterior cruciate ligament retention rotating platform and fixed arthroplasty, so as to provide ideas for clinical rationalization treatment. A 82 preserving platforms were selected replacement in our hospital followed up 1 y. The joint Hospital special surgery score, Western Ontario McMaster Universities Osteoarthritis index score application a three-dimensional motion capture system used compare parameters kinematics dynamics. In between cross retained platform, temporal spatial function significantly improved compared those before operation differences statistically significant (p<0.05), while there was no difference two groups (p>0.05). Both can improve using prosthesis.

Posterior Cruciate Ligament Retention versus Posterior Stabilization for Total Knee Arthroplasty: A Meta-Analysis

INTRODUCTION Although being debated for many years, the superiority of posterior cruciate-retaining (CR) total knee arthroplasty (TKA) and posterior-stabilized (PS) TKA remains controversial. We compare the knee scores, post-operative knee range of motion (ROM), radiological outcomes about knee kinematic and complications between CR TKA and PS TKA. METHODS Literature published up to August 20...

Similar outcome after retention or sacrifice of the posterior cruciate ligament in total knee arthroplasty

The purpose of this study was to answer 2 questions: Does the posterior cruciate ligament (PCL) produce femoral rollback in a single-design, cruciate-sparing total knee arthroplasty (TKA)? Does the PCL prevent posterior tibial displacement when it is retained after a single-design, cruciate-sparing TKA? Knee kinematics and limits of motion were measured with the knees in the following states: (...

Posterior cruciate ligament removal contributes to abnormal knee motion during posterior stabilized total knee arthroplasty.

Abnormal anterior translation of the femur on the tibia has been observed in mid flexion (20-60 degrees ) following posterior stabilized total knee arthroplasty. The underlying biomechanical causes of this abnormal motion remain unknown. The purpose of this study was to isolate the effects of posterior cruciate ligament removal on knee motion after total knee arthroplasty. We posed two question...

Relationship between retention of the posterior cruciate ligament and postoperative flexion in total knee arthroplasty.

This study was conducted to retrospectively analyzed the outcome of 192 total knee arthroplasties in 132 patients with rheumatoid arthritis (118 women, 14 men). The Okayama Mark II prosthesis, which requires the posterior cruciate ligament (PCL) to be resected, was used in 83 knees (group I), the Mark II prosthesis, which allows the PCL to be retained, was used in 68 knees (group II), and the n...

Posterior cruciate-retaining, rotating-platform total knee arthroplasty: minimum 4-year follow-up study.

Rotating-platform, mobile-bearing total knee arthroplasty was initially developed using a posterior cruciate-sacrificing technique and design. Posterior cruciate-substituting and -retaining, rotating-platform total knee arthroplasty designs were developed later. The purpose of this study was to evaluate a minimum 4-year follow-up of total knee arthroplasty performed with a posterior cruciate-re...
